Spaces for relaxation with armchairs and small tables have been arranged for your greater comfort.
From Tuesday to Saturday evening our ancient champagne cellar very regularly welcomes an international table where guests can enjoy a gourmet menu enhanced by the different house champagnes, and are initiated to the art of matching dishes with the divine beverage by the proprietors.
There is no defined menu for these meals… only the desire to please the palate!
Table d’hôte meals include: Hors d’oeuvres, starter, main course, cheese platter and dessert. Each dish is accompanied by a glass of Guy Charbaut champagne.
Visit & Tasting
We invite you to come and discover our cellars 25 metres below the chalky soil of Butte du Gruguet in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. Visit a part of our cellars with the help of our guide and then return to the surface to taste the different champagnes of our range.
Visits are available in French, English or German.
We would be delighted to welcome you for a visit to our cellars from Tuesday to Saturday at 10 am, by reservation only. We welcome you to come and taste our champagnes from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm. Sunday mornings by appointment only.
In the surrounding area
A 6-kilometre walk to discover the surroundings of Mareuil-sur-Ay, including the exceptional Château de Montebello, the lock, the little port and the Jard. From the summit of Mont des Fourches you will have a breathtaking view of the three valleys: Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs and the valley of the Marne. The green path enables you to discover the Champagne region and the banks of the Marne by bicycle at your own pace.
You can also take a boat trip on one of the Marne canals with a glass of champagne in hand, for a wonderful private cruise aboard a mythical boat.
By plane, if the weather permits, you can take off from Plivot aerodrome and fly over the wonders of the region: the Abbey of Dom Pérignon in Hautvillers, the Château of Veuve Cliquot in Boursault, the Château of Brugny, etc.
